submitted by Danielle N. - |Recommended: YesNice — Its quiet, I never hear my neighbors. I wish there was better more parking. Overall its a good price for the amount of space that we have and the location.
submitted by Tyler J. - |Recommended: YesA lot of space for the price — It's not a perfect complex but it isn't bad either. The staff is friendly and our unit is pretty big for the price we pay monthly compared to other apartment complexes.
submitted by Zachary R. - |Recommended: YesAffordable and Spacious — The townhouses offer a ton of space with decent interior spaces for a good monthly cost.
submitted by Courtney J. - |Recommended: YesRegency — Regency is a pretty good place to live and is pretty spacious for the rent price.
submitted by Shelby G. - |Recommended: YesI like it here so far — I would tell people it’s quiet and cute
submitted by Damian O. - |Recommended: YesIt’s nice. Sound barrier could be better. — It’s really good.
submitted by Molly R. - |Recommended: YesI do like it here but it could be better. — the neighbors are pretty noisy, I can hear the ones above me arguing all the time and someone down the hall likes to blast music with heavy bass. I frequently smell marijuana too but neither I nor the person living with me smoke it... also, whoever put this apartment together didn't do a great job - the trim is all lumpy and weird, the kitchen floor doesn't properly fit, the appliances are old, the one window we have makes the room very cold, etc. Rent is definitely on the pricier side considering things like that. However, it is a great first apartment and I do enjoy living here.
submitted by David W. - |Recommended: YesOne of the nicest places to live in the city. — After searching for apartments in Grand Rapids for about a year, no other place beat out this complex in terms of quality and value.
submitted by Kinsey D. - |Recommended: YesNot bad, but terrible parking — It's a pretty nice community, but be prepared for absolutely no parking.
submitted by Kierra G. - |Recommended: YesApartment Review — Been in my apartment studio for about 6 months and I love it. The office staff is always willing to help and very patient with any questions you may have. Maintenance is very quick about getting the job is done.
submitted by Louis G. - |Recommended: YesLove it. — Very peaceful and great place with the family to stay. Very affordable
submitted by Kendra L. - |Recommended: YesGood Quality for a Good Price — Very nice and spacious apartments for a good price. Good parking can be hard to find, depending on what apartment building you’re in, and the heat doesn’t stay very well with all the windows. However, the people are great both residents and workers and they keep everything looking and working really nice.
submitted by Adam E. - |Recommended: NoDecent enough, noticeable issues. — Parking I live in one of the townhouses here, and very rarely can I park in front of my building. People park wherever they like here and it's never convenient for me really. Guests take up spaces because no one tells them to park where they're supposed to, and there's no repercussions apparently. People who live in other buildings will park in front of my house just for a slightly shorter walk, which isn't fair to me at all. I pay way to much to never be able to park in front of my own house. More than half of the time I have to park down the hill or farther away. You can pay extra for a car port space, but that's barely worth the money especially since the ports by my house are filled with potholes and uneven pavement. Noise Depends on your neighbors really. Unfortunately both of mine have guests family over often, and they can be heard pretty easily through the walls. Loud conversations or children crying and running around, the noise is not insulated very well. When it is quiet, it is nice, but it's not very often. Cleanliness Overall the grounds are kept clean and fairly nice, the outward appearance of the buildings is kept up as well which I appreciate. Some signs could definitely be replaced though. Construction Most things in my home were updated prior to my move-in which is always great, but it's taken away from by all of the issues I've had while living here. I'm surprised the previous tenants didn't do anything about the leaks I've had or anything like that. Carpet was replaced but none of the floor boards were fixed so most of them creak everywhere you walk. New doors were put in but you can tell they rushed, almost all of them are crooked or have issues closing. Old screws and holes in the walls were just painted over, there's just little things everywhere you look it feels like. Maintenance The maintenance here is usually friendly and knowledgeable, which is nice compared to most places I've lived. However, with the recent changes due to COVID, they've been much less clear on what it is they're actually doing have done when they visit. They also have absolutely zero consideration for people working from home. Continually banging on the door and shouting as loud as possible while my fiancée is on the phone for work, even when I give them permission to enter. Property Staff Seem friendly enough in person, but that's about as far as it goes. Extremely short disinterested in email correspondence, sometimes not responding at all. Almost every update email I've received doesn't seem very professional, also short and often have typing errors. Response to complaints is met with no apology and little follow-up aside from saying they will look into contact whoever. Overall I want to like living here but there is just too much that takes away from my enjoyment. I wouldn't really recommend it to anyone I don't think. Certainly not worth the price I pay.
